Just under half of the online small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Australia (47%) use social media for their businesses. Only 36% of them update their social media accounts daily versus 22% do so weekly. SMBs use Facebook (90%) far more than the other platforms such as LinkedIn (35%), Twitter (25%) or Instagram (20%).
It worth to be mentioned that, 48% of respondents indicated that they’ve used paid advertising on social networks with an average spent of $3,859.
