In the US, shoppers are depending more on online shopping to shop more than ever before as a result of shifts in their desires to find better prices and unique products with more choice, control and convenience.
“UPS” polled 5000 US online shoppers to discover their online shopping behaviors. The vast majority of them (64%) searching and buying products or services on a single channel – online or in-store -; most of them (43%) searching and buying online versus only 21% who do so in-stores.
The other side of US online shoppers are searching on one channel and purchasing via another but most of them (14%) search online and buy in-store.
