53% of Shoppers in US Have Made Online Purchases in 2016 | Fluent

More than half of American consumers (52.9%) reported that they have made online purchases last year. Women were more likely than men to do so (58.5% vs. 48.3%).

Smartphones dominate all other devices in terms of purchasing online with a rate of 54.2%, followed by desktops/laptops with only 23.3%. iOS device owners were more likely than Android users to make online purchases (60.2 vs. 55.1%).
