The total number of mobile broadband subscriptions reached around 4.6 billion in the first quarter of 2017. Mobile broadband subscriptions make up between 50% and 85% of all mobile subscriptions in 5 out of 6 regions.
Asia Pacific holds the highest number followed by the Middle East and Africa. It worth to mention that, mobile broadband subscriptions in the Middle East and Africa is forecasted to grow almost 3X between 2016 and 2022.
