The vast majority of all email subject lines (84%) within the retail industry falls between 21 and 60 characters; achieving the lowest open rate which estimated with 12.8%.

In contrast, only 5% of all email subject lines within the same sector falls between 1 and 20 characters; achieving the highest open rate which estimated with 18.3%.

In the middle place 61+ characters length of all email subject lines (11%) achieving 15.3% open rate, overtopped the lines with 21 to 60 characters (84%) by 2.5% in the open rate.
