Content performance and ROI is something that almost every content marketer cares about, basic metrics are those that deal with consumption, or how many people have viewed content depending on its format.

Surveyed content marketers reported that measuring the traffic of content is ranked as the number one success metric with a rate of 50%, while the number of shares and likes is ranked as the second success metric with a rate of 31%. Then comes at next the position of the content in organic SERP with a rate of 25%.
