In terms of device ownership among Australian households, almost all of them own a computer device, while just 46% own a tablet and 82% own a smartphone. And in term of internet accessibility, 42% use tablets versus 79% who use mobile devices to access the internet.
Using mobile devices in Australia reached its peak with all Australians aged 18-29 years besides 69% of who aged 50-64% years use such devices to access the internet. For online shopping purposes, 35% of Australian tablet users use it to pay for purchases or bills, compared with 53% of mobile users.
