The vast majority of Americans (93%) have done an online purchasing process in the last year. 80% reported that they’re purchasing something online monthly, 30% weekly and 5% daily.
In terms of the purchase location and time, most of the online shoppers (43%) said they’ve made a purchase from the bed, 25% did so while standing in a brick-and-mortar store and 23% in their work office. Millennials reported the highest incidences of bed, cars and bathroom shopping.
It worth to be mentioned that shopping also is a state of mind. 1 in 10 shoppers admitted to buying something online after drinking alcohol.
