Key Findings of Payments and E-Commerce in Eastern Europe & the CIS:
- Russia has the highest number of online population, followed by Kazakhstan.
- Estonia has the highest smartphone penetration, followed by Russia.
- Romania has the highest e-commerce growth rate (40%), followed far by Ukraine (31%) and Kazakhstan (24%).
- Romania (85%) and Ukraine (70%) are the top two countries in using cash, while cards are popular in Latvia (43%).
- Russia (28%) is the most country in adopting E-Wallets, followed by Latvia (14%) and Estonia (19%).
