There is a significant group of media users who are ‘very effective’ at using digital technologies to advance their business or for their personal use. They’re called ‘Digital Leaders’. In 2018, GlobalWebIndex conducted a study to dig deeper into the unique demographics and characteristics of business leaders worldwide to guide marketers in the right direction.
The report discovered their digital motivations and behaviors, how they use and engage with social media and how they research and discover brands.
The report draws insights from GlobalWebIndex’s Q3 2017, Q4 2017, Q1 2018, and Q2 2018 wave of research across 40 markets, with a global sample of 340,015 respondents.
Data in this report is based on a sample of 12,653 respondents from 40 countries, including nearly 3,300 in the United States, 10,015 in China, 900 in the UK, and 1,000 in India.
Business leaders are defined in terms of job role from top leadership – CEOs, managing directors, and the C-suite, down to directors and senior managers.
