Cryptocurrency holders have traditionally been associated with being individualistic in their attitudes and behaviors, but this research revealed that they are actually more mainstream in their mindset around brands and consumer culture than many might think.
Cryptocurrency holders express confidence, optimism about their finances and the world economy, and show a sense of personal financial empowerment, they are a mobile-first audience, as is the case for most internet users in Europe while their business-interests play out in many ways, one of their common interests is following business leaders and entrepreneurs more than others.

All figures in this report are drawn from GlobalWebIndex’s online research among internet users aged 16-64, across three waves of research in 2018, GlobalWebIndex sampled almost 120,000 unique internet users in 17 European markets, including Russia and Turkey.
