Recently, when the COVID-19 started to spread out rapidly worldwide and when people had to stay home and work remotely, even kids have been studying online; social media platforms have decided to interfere and either to entertain people or to help them and even to help businesses amid the crisis.
In light of that, many initiatives have been made by many platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Facebook started with launching the “Get Digital” initiative in order to help remote workers and kids while staying at home besides many moves to prevent inaccurate news. Facebook’s Efforts did not end to that extent but it has also provided new templates to help brands to communicate during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We know that many businesses are facing unexpected challenges at the moment, including keeping in touch with customers, so we wanted to share a few things that you can do to get ahead of these challenges and stay connected,” Facebook said
According to Facebook, these are a new set of templates amid the COVID-19 shutdown to help businesses communicate key messages.
Besides the new Facebook templates, Facebook has provided automatic responses that brands can use to respond to messages through Instagram or Messenger, as well as providing tips for efficient brand use of Facebook Live.
The efforts are obvious and Facebook is always keeping us up-to-date and helping the community especially amid this crisis. Hopefully, everyone takes advantage of what social media platforms are offering and make better use of it.
