As the eCommerce activity is increasing along with Facebook and Instagram shops on the way, This week, Facebook has added some helpful new Custom Audience creation options.
The following screenshot which is posted by Michael Vittori and shared by social media expert Matt Navarra shows that in your Custom Audience options through Facebook Ads Manager, a new option is available that helps you to create a listing based on “Shopping”.
When you click through on that you will have three options to build your customer lists for ad retargeting, the three available options are:
The new options provide a wide range of handy ways to re-engage people who have expressed an obvious interest in your products, also with customers up to 70% more possible to convert when retargeted with display ads, these options will be really valuable and handy for people who look to maximize their Facebook and Instagram eCommerce efforts.
The new Custom Audience is a logical extension of Facebook’s existing retargeting options and will be a great benefit, in addition, they will also provide the capacity to create Lookalike Audiences based on the same.
What happens when you go to create a Lookalike Audience? you will be able to use your new Shopping custom audience as a base and this could be handy for you to target more users that are increasingly possible to buy, based on their on-platform interests and behaviors.
When it comes to digital marketing the way for things to work out is the clever use of segmentation and retargeting, we can see that Facebook is working on that and looking forward to making things easier with its new tools like these. Other than that, Facebook recently added email marketing options within the Pages app.
