Social Media Strategist

Stanley Black & Decker is looking for a Social Media Strategist in Towson, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve and execute social strategy managing the content calendar and setting goals and clear KPIs to strengthen social media presence, including developing the right voice and brand presence in each social media platform.
  • Content development for all social properties, including copy and creative assets with the collaboration of the studio team (copywriters, designers, photo/video developers to ensure content has high standards for originality, creativity, engagement, and overall quality.
  • Day-to-day lead community across all social media channels – focus on maximizing social voice and increasing engagement.
  • Report on analytics/KPIs by delivering thorough analysis using native and third-party reporting platforms.
  • Crisis management.
  • Head paid/dark social media tactics.
  • Keep up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices (always be learning).
  • Oversee SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
  • At least 5 years of social media management experience.
  • Demonstarted understanding of appropriate posting techniques on each social platform.
  • Effective experience using social media tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Percolate, or HubSpot.
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated use of Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, and Salesforce Social Studio.
  • Deep knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Proficient experience developing and executing social media strategies, for organic and paid.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and optimize social media advertising campaigns for target audiences across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Outstanding analytical, time-management, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, makes a quick decision and executes against deadlines.
  • Solid interpersonal skills, ability to influence people and working in a complex, matrixed organization.
