Social Media Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own, implement and drive social media and influencer strategies.
  • Produce bold and innovative ideas to accelerate growth and make Amazon Fashion EU famous for groundbreaking social.
  • Communicate with the internal fashion affiliates and the traffic/paid social teams to ensure your strategy dovetails with theirs to support the SL business goals and drive the flywheel.
  • Estimate the effectiveness of social and influencer activity, using learnings to iterate your strategy where necessary; keep up to date with current Amazon thinking regarding the measurement of social channels.
  • Own monthly reporting and the social and influencer section of the Marketing Quarterly Business Revue.
  • Liaise with the senior content manager to ensure that the social creative supports the social strategy goals; work together with a plan the social content calendar.
  • Supervise all community management.
  • Own the social posting schedule.
  • Organize with other crosses Amazon social and influencer teams to leverage relationships, establish best practices for social and influencer marketing.
  • Lead relationship with social networks (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snap) to ensure we stay up to date on new products and gain AF access to appropriate beta trials.
  • Operate with the insights team to understand and get ahead of new customer trends.
  • Run the social media apprentice; liaise with the apprentice scheme supplier to ensure that they are supported and will meet their set milestones and achieve their business and personal goals.
  • Keep up to date on social media trends by conducting regular competitor analysis and attending relevant industry events.
  • Support ad hoc non-social marketing projects and campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years managing social media and Influencer strategies either at an agency or in-house.
  • Expert knowledge of and passion for social media; trends, tech, new platforms.
  • Forensic attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity.
  • Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment.
