Social Media Manager

SpaceNK is looking for a Social Media Manager in London, United Kingdom. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Improve and maintain an annual overview calendar for key dates the business can tap in the social space, i.e. National Puppy Day, Earth Day and so on as well as core promotional periods across both the UK and US markets and review regularly ahead of every brief to ensure opportunities are leveraged.
  • Operate with the head of social on content creation strategy and how best to leverage ‘Made for Social’ content and reactive evergreen brand support in line with the wider social strategy.
  • Assure all approved content is uploaded to the scheduler at least 1x week ahead covering all channels, in line with social strategy.
  • Supervise all elements of creative briefing including asset production, cover briefs, ad hoc needs and campaign extras, working with the Head of Social to ensure budgets are maximized and approved ahead of production.
  • Aid in the education of various social stakeholders to ensure all creative productions and maximized and accountable.
  • Cooperate with the Head of Social and Head of Editorial to ensure editorial content is leveraged at a brief stage so deliverables service all requirements.
  • Collaborate the head of social in content development with brands, ensuring all brands are abreast of campaign activity and where they can support key activations in line with the wider social and creative strategy.
  • Always search for opportunities to generate content with brands and brand assets (spokespeople etc).
  • Assure the budget tracker is kept up to date with bi-weekly check-ins with Head of Social and Finance.
  • Secure the campaign calendar is baked into the social calendar at least 2 months upstream and that all stakeholders are kept up to date on planned activities.
  • Perform the weekly trackers and delivering monthly performance dashboard in a timely manner with key market and competitor insights.
  • Serve with PR to identify influencers for ‘always on’ brand activity, i.e. #MySpaceNK and delivering activity every month.
  • Run all assets for calendar events and seasonal activities, I,e. Halloween, New Year, cold weather and so on. Briefing in the relevant parties and shooting content where appropriate.
  • Accountable for developing and delivering plans that bring to life our x4 brand pillars (discovery, curated assortment, knowledge and unbiased advice).
  • Manage all seasonal unboxing activities in a timely fashion, working at least 3 months upstream with all stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in a social media and digital content position.
  • Proficient luxury and beauty experience preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of content capture and driving engagement, working to deadlines etc.
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills.
  • Effective experience in working on successful projects from start to finish.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Be adaptable, flexible and a team player.
  • Confidence to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
  • Ability to listen and take direction on a variety of task.
