Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and prepare publicity strategy, determine audiences and consumer targets according to campaign specifications, research and develop a comprehensive publicity strategy which ensures the best level of coverage.
- During the campaign planning stage, discuss and align with the account management team on the publicity campaign goals, objectives and measurable – KPIs, key targets, milestones and ROI on activity and initiatives and prepare the pitch and planning documents.
- Suggest and execute innovative and realistically achievable ways to publicize campaigns including promotions, talent junkets, editorial, competitions and social campaign activity.
- Head brainstorm meetings to create publicity plans, pitches, strategy and plan of action documents.
- Attend regular meetings with clients and the account management team to discuss campaigns and ensure they are on track.
- Assure outstanding relationships are built with clients and their expectations are consistently managed at different levels within the team.
- Manage the way in organizing relationship-building events and encourage the team to contribute to these.
- Proactively seek ways to win new business through networking opportunities.
- Operate daily with the publicity team to prioritize and delegate work while offering guidance, direction and support.
- Overall accountability for managing budgets within the team.
- Supervise, train, support and guide the team in all areas of publicity including promotions, partnerships, social media, research, analytics and video.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a publicity manager or relevant role, including digital publicity.
- Expert knowledge of the film and television industry is essential, some brand PR experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of client budgeting.
- Outstanding communication, organizational and presentation skills.
- Conscientious timekeeping and effective time management.
- Love of new technology and passion for following developing media trend.
- Extensive contacts in the UK entertainment industry.
- Outstanding client relations skills.
- Ability to lead, challenge and encourage a team.
