Job Responsibilities:
- Define EMEA strategy working collaboratively with HQ.
- Be the point of contact between EMEA, HQ and regional marketing managers and ensure that social is an integrated part of our global and localized campaigns.
- Support the growth and maintenance of Hootsuite’s social media channels in EMEA by scheduling, publishing, listening, monitoring and capitalizing on buzzworthy events.
- Produce social media support pre, at and post sponsored and owned events.
- Carry the social flag in EMEA and supporting social strategic initiatives such as social selling (project roll-out, sales coaching).
- Operate together with the social team in HQ to build a content publishing framework across social channels and blogs, prioritizing between thought leadership, evergreen, campaign support, localized and new content.
- Adapt content and format based on where the customer is in the funnel to drive engagement, growth and conversions.
- Cooperate with the brand team in HQ to ensure that all formats and creative assets are social first.
- Apply editorial guidelines and best practices for our EMEA blogs and optimize content for search engines.
- Lead content publishing and reporting for Amplify, our content amplification tool, in EMEA.
- Utilize analytics platforms like Hootsuite Impact and Google Analytics to deliver quarterly reports about traffic/leads driven, growth of channels and engagement, as well as feeding insight back into campaign goals.
- Collaborate with global PUA (paid user acquisition) teams to build media plans and improve global content and targeting.
- Be the best possible user of Hootsuite, and use this knowledge to make marketing recommendations and provide product feedback to internal teams based on your experience within the platform.
Job Requirements:
- Expert working knowledge of social media platform.
- Staying organized and poised, during times of change.
- Effectively communicating information and feedback.
- Keep up to date with social media trends and the tech industry.
- Be fluent in English and able to write high-quality content in English. Second language such as German and/or Spanish a plus.
- Passion about social media.
- Ability to demonstrate experience of integrating social as part of a demand gen program.
- Able to adapt your voice to Hootsuite’s brand while staying mindful of your audience.
- The ability for working within internal processes to bring reactive campaign ideas to life.
