Job Responsibilities:
- Associate with client management teams to develop meaningful, actionable insights based on data analysis and provide recommendations to inform and improve the client’s marketing strategy.
- Produce thought leadership to connect the business need to the best analytic solution.
- Liaise clearly with client and project management to thoroughly understand the client’s needs and assure data is analyzed appropriately.
- Head a team of analysts for multiple clients. Act as primary contact for projects, deliverables of the team.
- Lead the execution of data analyses, both through individual contributions (hands-on data mining work) and supervision of analysts to ensure milestones are being met with accurate learnings.
- Leverage analyst strengths and develop analysts to improve their skills and abilities.
- Devise and create marketing metrics reports and management dashboards for multiple clients including data visualization.
- Estimate impact of marketing programs through the use of test design and analysis of programs and target audiences.
- Recognize and use appropriate data sources and manipulate date to carry out in-depth quantitative analyses of a customer, market, transaction level data sets.
- Use statistical techniques (e.g. regression models, time series models, factor analysis and clustering) as needed. Consider other analytic methods and models based on client requests or projects for the new business.
- Provide findings and recommendations verbally with clarity to internal and external audiences.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years experience in advanced analytics, marketing, analysis.
- Effective consulting experience is a plus.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, T-SQL, MDX) or familiarity with any relevant software programs (R, SAS, Hadoop, Alteryx, MATLAB, Python) will be valued.
- Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (ideally Tableau).
- Solid analytical skills, statistical modeling, problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities.
