Job Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders to determine our annual content strategy and plan based on core marketing and business objectives, trends/themes and key audience needs.
- Infuse our brand into all our marketing content, and explore new ways to introduce and connect more donors to our offerings.
- Craft content strategies and experiences that engages and nurtures our donors, throughout the CHIMP ecosystem.
- Supervise CHIMP’s marketing content production for Demand Generation campaigns and works to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
- Own development and management (planning, tracking and reporting) of all of content development work.
- Cooperate with our digital marketing manager on supporting content creation for marketing campaigns and infuse our blog content with trending SEO keywords.
- Design, align and track content creation and curation efforts to the annual plan; develop a dashboard of reach and engagement achievements and track in-flight initiatives for executive reporting.
- Map content creation to donor journeys and personas to support account-based marketing and digital initiatives.
- Operate hand-in-hand with our Sr. Manager, PR and Comms to help develop newsworthy stories that the media will pick up.
- Own the development of both created and curated content that may include emails, landing pages, ads, white papers, presentations, webinars, sales collateral, blogs, articles, case studies and videos.
- Continually test web content to determine the optimal approach to reaching and engaging various segments of our target audiences.
- Recognize opportunities for content efficiency and automation and working cross-functionally to implement them.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in digital content writing.
- Effective experience creating or applying consumer journeys and; personas a plus.
- A professional journalism/ marketing qualification or degree is preferred.
- Strong digital content, SEO/SEM and; editorial skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- ‘Can do’ attitude.
- Outstanding writing skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Solid attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- The ability to prioritize a varied and demanding workload.
- Ability to work independently and; collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
