Digital Marketing Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine trends and provide actionable insights across a variety of online and offline channels to improve customer journeys and ensure activity delivers against our business goals.
  • Recognize audience behavior using a variety of data sources such as Google Analytics, social and search analytics tools.
  • Cooperate with marketing planners and the data and insights team to build and refine customer segment profiles.
  • Estimate the cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.
  • Operate with business owners to define and build dashboards, automating regular reporting where possible using tools such as Google Data Studio.
  • Maintain a wide variety of teams reporting on the performance of our campaigns and marketing activities including our websites and social media channels.
  • Manage with stakeholders across the business to ensure campaign links are tagged for evaluating marketing activity.
  • Deploy custom tracking on our websites using Google Tag manager.
  • Research the data from across various marketing channels to identify trends and produce forecasts for target setting.
  • Help the e-commerce manager to identify opportunities for revenue growth through optimizing digital journeys.
  • Provide analysis clearly and confidently to key teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience with Google Analytics, including report filtering, data segmentation and creating custom and automated reports.
  • Deep understanding of statistical principles and using regular expressions.
  • Proficient experience in analyzing trends and forecasting and bringing data to life through data visualization.
  • Extensive knowledge of campaign tagging and reporting.
  • Proven understanding of marketing KPIs and engagement measures.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying tracking using Google Tag manager.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with an agile marketing environment and as part of project teams.
  • Interested in continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice.
  • The ability to work with large datasets from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to communicate data and complex ideas to stakeholders with different levels of understanding.
