Spam calls in the US have risen in the second quarter of 2017 to reach 20.7 calls per user per month – from 18.8 spam calls 2 months before – making the United States on the 2nd line to be one of the world’s most spam-call plagued country.

Spam calls in the US are dominated by nuisance (43%) and scam calls (23%), followed by financial services (15%) and then debt collectors (7%).
