There are 3 main players in the cab-hailing services in the MENA region; Uber, Careem & Allo. By analyzing the call volumes to the car service from the Truecaller users, via the selected countries surveyed, Uber holds the largest share of phone calls with a rate of 58%, followed by Careem with a rate of 22%, and then Allo with a rate of 20%.

This data was aggregated anonymously from incoming and outgoing calls to the cab-hailing service providers in selected parts of the MENA region (countries include: Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Morocco, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Israel) during the period of October 1st, 2016 to December 31th, 2016.
