Nearly half (47%) of internet users in the Middle East watch sports online according to a survey conducted by the Northwestern University in Qatar in 2017.
In terms of the most popular sports websites in the GCC, “kooora.com” bumped out with over 3 million unique browsers (UBs) and over 85.2 million page views (PVs).
This is followed by “sport360” with over 1.198 million UBs and followed by “cricbuzz.com” in terms of the number of PVs which estimated with over 47.8 million PVs.
Mobile apps grabbed the highest average of visit duration. That’s why “FilGoal Mobile App – Sarmady” achieved a 05:02 minutes visit duration on average, followed by “kooora.com” with 04:49 minutes and then “bbc.com – Sport” with 04:26 minutes.
