YouTube Tops With 81% in Getting & Sharing Entertainment in Middle East, 2017 | Northwestern University in Qatar

Internet users in the Arab nations are avid social media users. Among platform users, over 8 in 10 use YouTube as their main source of getting and sharing entertainment content. This is followed by Instagram with a rate of 72%, Facebook (70%) and then Snapchat (69%).

Although Twitter is lagged behind all social media platforms in terms of entertainment purposes, it ranked the top of all these platforms in getting and sharing the news.
