COVID-19 Vibe Check Insights: 77% of Gen Z Say They Understand Their Government’s Guidelines on COVID-19

There are some groups – according to the COVID-19 vibe check insights- that need extra targeting to ensure they follow COVID-19 regulations. It’s predominantly younger men who don’t understand their government’s recommendations, and surprisingly, education doesn’t make much of an impact.

The following chart explains the understanding of COVID-19 guidelines that increases with age. Here are the percentages of people who say they understand their government’s guidelines on COVID-19:

• Based on the chart, 93% of Baby Boomers say that they understand their government’s guidelines on COVID-19.
• Along with 87% of Gen X who say they understand their government’s guidelines on COVID-19.
• Not only this but also 82% of Millennials say they understand their government’s guidelines on COVID-19.
• Also, 77% of Gen Z say they understand their government’s guidelines on COVID-19.

83% Say They Follow Their Government’s Guidelines All or Most of The Time

Additionally, very few people say they never follow social distancing guidelines, however, for many people, compliance is a spectrum.

• Also, 79% of Millennials say that they follow the government guidelines most/all of the time. However, 5% of them say they never wear a mask.
• 87% of Gen X say they follow government guidelines most/all of the time. In addition to 3% of them who say they never wear a mask.
• Based on the COVID-19 vibe check insights, 94% of Boomers say they follow the guidelines most/all of the time, on the other hand, only 2% of them say they never wear a mask.
