“Candy” Is the Top Halloween Celebrating Item in US, 2017 | NRF

72% of Americans are planning to celebrate Halloween this year. More than half of them tend to celebrate the Halloween firstly by handing out candy (70.6%), decorating (49.2%) and dressing up in costume.

Younger celebrants – aged 18-24 years – are significantly more likely to dress in costume and attend or host a party, while older generations are much more likely to hand out candy.
