Almost three-quarters of US consumers surveyed plan to take advantage of free shipping when spending in the 2017 holiday season, while the vast majority of them consider free shipping is more important than fast shipping (88% vs. 12%).
When respondents were asked to determine what “free shipping” means for them, most of them (45%) said that it’s the delivery within 2 days and 35% said that it’s the delivery within 3-4 days.
