Facebook Provides Feature Enables Group Admins to Pin Comments

In the last 12 months or so, Facebook was working hard to make Facebook groups a more critical element of the social network, so it launched a set of effective, valuable, and exciting new group tools, which makes the groups community safer, more enjoyable and valuable. This heap of new group tools includes groups for Pages and group analytics tools.

Accordingly, a few days ago, Facebook rolled out a new feature focusing on the Facebook groups, which enables the group admins to pin comments in discussion threads, as reported by Matt Navarra on 22 August 2018.

According to this Facebook new feature, group admins now have the ability to underline the best comments, or new angles of interest, which could help spark further discussion around a specific element and boost engagement and interaction.

The ability to highlight specific comments for the group admins brings new methods for them to manage and control the conversation effectively, helping to prompt further comment on the most engaging elements without users needing to scroll through everything else.

In the same context, it should be pointed out that these Facebook latest steps are based on the noticed switching of the social interactions to private or enclosed forums, that encourages the Facebook development team to do their best to help maximize groups, which could help them ensure users stay engaged.

Additionally to Facebook’s attempts to develop its platform and provide enjoyable, effective, and valuable elements and services; Facebook also is leading strong cleanup campaigns across its platform in the recent days, in order to provide a safe community for more than a billion of its users worldwide, in addition to prevent abuse and stop content which spreads hate between people.
