Job Responsibilities:

• Translate data sets for insights and make data-driven recommendations.
• Improve and maintain scalable enterprise tools to collate, report and analyze cloud usage data.
• Automation of Cloud usage data collection and reporting through scripting and tool development.
• Promote a deep understanding of Cloud Provider’s services, cost models and cost tracking tools.
• Operate closely with the Cloud Optimisation Principal to ensure optimization is built into new delivery and platform solutions, whilst maintaining the optimization of existing platforms.
• Create strong relationships with Cloud hosting teams, Digital Tech delivery teams and digital leadership to ensure optimization is smooth and customer-centric.
• Understood and execute the TDL vision for the Cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Run on Domain objectives to achieve Cloud strategy.
• Establish and maintain constructive working relationships and engagement with Team Members, Stakeholders and Leaders across Digital Tech and Cloud Hosting.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a software engineering role.
• Strong AWS Essentials and Architecture qualifications.
• Effective experience in data analysis, modeling and reporting.
• Sound understanding of LEAN optimization concepts.
• Solid full-stack software engineering skills using languages such as Python, Java, Go and web presentation technologies and frameworks.
• Expert working knowledge of information technology and industry trends and issues.
• Deep working technical knowledge of Cloud services.
• Demonstrated understanding of the operations of financial institutions.
• Proficient experience of working with Cloud services.
• Proven experience of working in an Agile delivery team.
• Strong skills in IT operations and app ownership in a large organization (desirable).
• Great capability in contributing to the strategic direction of a Domain.
