Senior .NET Developer

FCV Interactive is looking for a Senior .NET Developer in Vancouver, Canada. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine and refine requirements with the team, implementing and maintaining a wide range of dynamic and interactive websites.
  • Enhance for speed and compatibility; adding features that contribute to the website without sacrificing quality.
  • Aid clients with the formulation of their web strategies.
  • Operate within project management schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Cooperate with other members of our team to ensure consistency with the overall goals of each project and client expectations.
  • Assure code and features are developed to meet requirements and standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with .NET Development.
  • Effective experience with .NET framework (C# is preferred).
  • Proficient experience with CMS (Sitecore or Kentico preferred).
  • Familiarity with the full life cycle of software development in a client services environment.
  • Proven track record in Agile practices (Stand-ups, sprint planning, estimation etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of designing Solution Architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of leading and mentoring Developers.
  • Strong skills in working in a client facing role and working with business development teams (eg. writing proposal responses, pitches etc.).
  • Demonstrated understanding of DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines are a huge plus.
  • Sound skills in Azure, Docker and/or react are a huge plus.
  • Solid communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to focus under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
