Job Responsibilities:
- Participate to and interpreting creative and marketing briefs to develop creative solutions that meet business and communication objectives while reflecting the brand’s positioning and identity.
- Operate with projects from start to finish, including collaborative strategic brainstorming through creative execution and final production.
- Plan marketing assets across multiple media formats and complexity.
- Cooperate effectively with business stakeholders, copywriters and project managers to develop and deliver campaign materials.
- Review, improve and refresh existing designs for print collateral.
- Effectively interact with creative solutions to team members and incorporating feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
- Provide files in accordance with print production requirements.
- Independently lead daily and weekly schedule and prioritizing workflow to accommodate needs and deadlines as required. Executing efficiently within tight project schedules and deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- At least 7 years work related design experience (maybe a mix of agency, corporate or freelance work).
- Demonstrated understanding of communication hierarchy, as it applies to design, and the importance of visual storytelling.
- Expert knowledge of design fundamentals and highly proficient in high-quality graphic design, production, practice and techniques.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite – including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator – including advanced image creation, editing, manipulation, and optimization techniques.
- Deep knowledge of pre-press and preparing files for print.
- Effective experience with the MS Office suite.
- Proficient experience developing MS Office templates would be an asset (e.g. PowerPoint).
- Proven experience working in a corporate environment and/or the financial industry would be an asset.
- Proven track record in photography and/or video would be an asset.
- Extremely conceptual, but able to take ideas all the way through to execution with a keen eye for detail and finesse.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills in a highly collaborative team.
- Sound organizational skills and a willingness to execute a variety of production related tasks.
- Strong time and project management skills.
- In possession of a portfolio of print design work that demonstrates the development of creative solutions to address specific business goals.
- Willing to adapt and manage both positive and negative feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Intensely interested in learning new skills and technologies.
- Comfortable in a PC environment.
- Ability to read and write in French would be an asset but not necessary.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible with a workflow that varies based on the nature of the project and timelines associated.
