Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop lean, efficient and effective web applications to support SAI Global’s digital enterprise products.
• Act collaboratively to find solutions to mission-critical problems and to translate solutions into a scalable and robust code.
• Operate in a high paced Agile environment.
• Effectively involve both technology and business stakeholders.
• Produce technology solution recommendations against solution architecture.
• Translate business requirements into executable technical designs.
• Create creative and innovative solutions.
• Present the effort and cost estimation for project activities.
• Promote scalable efficient and robust code against requirements and design.
• Provide quality code that is concise, readable and maintainable by the team.
• Cooperate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
• Support code integrity and organization.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience with PHP (preferably CakePHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter or Zend).
• At least 2 years of working with JavaScript ES6.
• Effective experience with commercial software development in a team.
• Proficient experience in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (preferably SASS or LESS).
• Proven track record in HTML5 and Bootstrap.
• Expert knowledge of designing and developing complex web-based applications.
• Demonstrated understanding of API integration with front-end frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of source control and versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN).
• Solid skills in development best practices and methodologies (such as SOLID).
• Sound knowledge of algorithms, network protocols, and web services.
• Outstanding skills in performance tuning, DB query optimization and Linux.
• Wide knowledge of dealing with cloud message API and development as REST / JSON services.
• Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment environments.
• Ability to complete projects in entirety from start to finish.
