Job Responsibilities:
- Draft, design and lead user-based research projects in collaboration with user experience, strategy and service design.
- Analysis methods may include Usability testing, Ethnographic inquiries, User Interviews and Workshops.
- Analyze research findings using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Produce strategic recommendations based on research findings and client needs.
- Provide recommendations both internally and to clients in formal and informal settings.
- Associate in the execution of recommendations using information architecture (i.e. sitemaps, content plans) and interaction design (i.e. personas, wireframe) methods.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, cognitive science, human factors or related discipline.
- Effective experience developing study designs, testing, analyzing, reporting, and presenting findings.
- Expert knowledge of building rapport with research participants and stakeholders.
- Proficient experience developing, conducting, and presenting user research.
- Proven track record in developing key insights and aligning research with strategic business recommendations.
- Demonstrated understanding of developing personas, scenarios and workflows.
- Solid verbal and written communications skills coupled with a high attention to detail.
- Technical background or ability to understand complex technical concepts.
- Strong observation and listening skills and a great analytical ability.
- Ability to distill large quantities of information into actionable insights.
