Job Responsibilities:

• Produce art direction for motion design and animation in a studio environment.
• Imagine and develop motion graphics packages for Corus Networks.
• Design detailed storyboards and animations based off of creative brief and direction are given.
• Cooperate with other team members on design, promotions and production.
• Gather research materials on branding, animation, design trends and pop culture.
• Understood brand standards and apply them to projects.
• Support and management of project files and all its resources.
• Quality control, proofreading and double-checking work before release.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in animation, design, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years experience in motion design, animation, print, web and/or new media.
• Expert knowledge and skills in motion design and animation.
• Deep knowledge of On Air and Off-Air Promotion work process and flow.
• Effective experience in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Proven track record in C4D is an asset.
• Sound computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Photoshop etc.).
• Self-motivated team player who is willing to work extended hours as needed.
• Strong communication skills.
• Solid attention to detail and time management.
• Willingness to learn new software and skills as needed.
• Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace variety and spontaneity.
• Desire and commitment to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Ability to meet concurrent and conflicting deadlines through organization and time management.
