Job Responsibilities:
- Understood all aspects of Marketo and WordPress configuration and functional capabilities.
- Study, recommend and implement system enhancements, to integration enhancements between CRM, CMS and Marketo, and to the lead nurturing process in order to leverage it to its full potential.
- Educate others on the use of Marketo and WordPress.
- Support vendors to learn, guide, and implement best practices and innovative ideas.
- Create and implement new features and functionality in WordPress.
- Build and guide the website’s architecture.
- Assure high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Aid formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Promote these systems to keep it organized and usable by the team, including libraries (assets, landing pages, emails, images, forms, etc.).
- Direct all aspects of the Marketo marketing database including data mining, segmentation, testing and maintaining data integrity.
- Keep up to date on email and landing page best practices and trends.
- Track on spam filtering and privacy regulations and ensure CST is maximizing inbox deliverability.
- Secure smooth transition in upgrades and system changes.
- Improve templates that follow brand guidelines and adhere to email, landing page and form best practices.
- Cooperate with marketing team to integrate communication and nurture programs into Marketo, thoroughly test, launch, and report as required.
- Assist the lead score and lead segmentation efforts of the marketing team.
- Help with data imports and exports, data cleansing and data integrity projects.
- Advance ad-hoc reports as requested by user groups or stakeholders.
- Operate analysis on marketing database as required.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to implement and continuously improve the lead nurturing process.
- Merge feeders into the lead nurturing process (i.e. SEM, social media, CRM, online advertising and offline advertising).
- Finished projects on time and on budget.
- Effectively control projects on a continual basis and track time as required.
- Evaluate time required to complete projects.
- Produce status updates as required.
- Do other duties as assigned by management, such as CMS changes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in marketing or digital media-related discipline.
- Minimum 1- year experience in Marketo and WordPress experience.
- Deep technical knowledge of web management components and best practices, including modern front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, CMS), and understanding of back-end server functions, such as website troubleshooting and CRM file management.
- Effective experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Proven experience in designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Familiarity with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Wide knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Demonstrated understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN and Mercurial.
- Proficient understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Expert knowledge of marketing communications best practices across both offline and online channels (primarily digital including social media, and direct marketing).
- Outstanding experience and results as a direct marketing and digital marketing communications professional.
- Strong project management skills and superior attention to detail.
- Solid communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, innovative and solutions-oriented
- Analytically inclined, strategic thinker with a proven ability to connect business objectives to innovative, creative communication output that deliver superior results.
- High ability to work as a team player and has an aptitude for conflict resolution.
- Great ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
