Job Responsibilities:

• Improve new web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
• Support and enhance existing web applications and internal systems.
• Design unit testing of web applications.
• Promote database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
• Participate in the design of application architecture.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Demonstrated understanding of web and system security issues.
• Effective experience in the industry a plus.
• Sound skills in Object Oriented Development with preference to programming in Ruby on Rails.
• Outstanding skills in SQL, and database optimization is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and bash scripting is an asset.
• Proficient experience in HTML and at least one scripting language.
• Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
• Interested in following current internet trends with a specific interest in social networking.
• Innovative and always seeking ways to impress others.
• Analytical thinking and a strong eye for details.
• Solid organized and capable of taking the initiative.
• Able to promptly communicate with the team.
• An ability to establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans.
• Able to work with minimal dependence and efficiently to meet deadlines.
