Job Responsibilities:

• Collect information from internal and external clients regarding the purpose/desired results of the finished product.
• Define and design the appropriate medium and layout for presenting a finished copy (e.g., report, concept planning document, website, etc.).
• Improve images and layout that convey the desired message (safety and security) to a variety of clients ranging from internal GHC clients, urban planners, developers, architects, and high-level executives.
• Refine and apply the Good Harbor and UPPA corporate brand identity across all deliverables and documentation.
• Obtain feedback and incorporate it into successive drafts.
• Design final, production-ready designs.
• Proofread drafts for accuracy and completeness.
• Organize the printing and production process.
• Support the practice area document library and archive all work documents so that they are accessible to and easily retrievable by any team members.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, visual arts, communications, or graphic design (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of related experience in both print, web, and 3-dimensional environmental graphics.
• Effective experience in consulting, urban planning, architectural or engineering industries preferred.
• Sound creative and technical skills in the Apple environment, and good working knowledge of Adobe CS3 (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop), AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Solid organizational and time management skills with an ability to simultaneously work on multiple assignments with short-term and strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand the goal of each assignment and its requirements – both conceptually and technically.
