E-Commerce Specialist

Standard Supply & Distr is looking for an E-Commerce Specialist in Dallas, United States. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage Standard Supply’s e-commerce growth according to the overall company objectives.
  • Improve and implement e-commerce marketing strategies.
  • Prove strong business judgment and decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate the highest impact initiatives.
  • Work as the primary e-commerce account lead and contact, managing the day-to-day relationship with external partners to optimize performance, and maximize sales and profits.
  • Operate with our marketing department, ERP vendor and 3rd party vendors to modernize the site.
  • Produce optimization expertise for our B2B and B2C site.
  • Cooperate with the purchasing department to monitor and manage online product assortment and content with the goal of maximizing online presence and driving sales.
  • Ensure items are properly categorized with images and content.
  • Build and implement a plan to get more customers to adopt the use of our B2B, B2C site and Mobile App.
  • Provide analytic reports of online sales on a monthly basis to the management team.
  • Examine KPI’s and metrics to locate trends and implement ideas to generate growth.
  • Present the expertise on current e-commerce industry best practices.
  • Recognize new areas of e-commerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
  • Lead day-to-day e-commerce responsibilities in maintaining and performing top data-driven analysis to increase customer acquisition, loyalty and achieve traffic and sales performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record of growing revenue.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in search engine optimization with proven ability to achieve top search engine rankings.
  • Expert knowledge of digital sales and marketing.
  • Effective experience in leadership of e-commerce websites.
  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics.
  • Proven track record to deal with Google Analytics and performance marketing.
  • Wide knowledge of website keyword selection and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2016 products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong HVAC industry experience is preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of how to use databases so that you along with the help of IT can expand on the current analysis processes.
  • Solid analytical skills and e-business acumen.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • High ability to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong team member.

Standard Supply is a private and independently owned distributor of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration equipment and related parts and supplies in the HVAC/R industry. It currently operates 15 locations in the state of Texas including a distribution center in Dallas and two mobile branches.
