Job Responsibilities:

• Improve the online proposition, focusing on product, marketing and service.
• Promote and implement an e-commerce strategy for Ireland and UK market.
• Direct the e-commerce sales growth and profitability.
• Operate closely with third parties where relevant.
• Practice strategic thinking to develop a strong plan and have the relevant know-how to execute it.
• Regular connects and KPI performance monitoring.
• Lead content production and SEO improvements to increase our natural search traffic.
• Grow an online marketing strategy to include PPC, Affiliate, SEO, Display, Email and retargeting strategy.
• Design effective customer acquisition and retention programmes.
• Supervise day to day running of the website as well as implementing strategic projects.
• Stay up to date on e-commerce trends and new techniques.
• Enhance the customer journey through constant review of product classification and site ordering.
• Execute a clear merchandising strategy with measurable objectives and deliverables.
• Drive the annual trade and marketing plan.
• Cooperate with the web development company, marketing and accounts teams to understand key focuses and ensure a high level of traffic pages are presented in the best way.
• Create strong relationships with the rest of the business and partners, and influence decisions to ensure the best commercial outcome.
• Utilize multiple content management systems to update and upload content to the site.
• Constantly analyze competitor websites and other websites to ensure we are up to date.
• Recognize areas of opportunity online suggesting ways to improve their digital performance.
• Perform on e-commerce projects with the e-commerce project team and wider department to deliver new platforms, sites and technology.
• Head the relevant budgets to deliver best ROI.
• Manage the daily tasks of the online team.
• Responsible for overall success of their web-shop with the goal to drive revenue and profitability of the e-commerce operation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital marketing or similar background.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar e-commerce role.
• Deep knowledge of online and e-commerce platforms.
• Proficient experience in launching, managing and growing e-commerce sites.
• Familiarity with using content management systems and web analytics and reporting on trading performance.
• Expert understanding of managing online marketing channels.
• Solid analytical skills, including a track record in increasing conversion rate.
• Proven track record in online merchandising across different categories.
• Sound creative approach combined with a clear commercial focus.
• Effective experience or interest in the cosmetics industry would be an advantage.
• Creativity and innovative thinking to drive the accelerated growth of the business.
• Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
• Outstanding commercial and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills and ability to work in a diverse setting.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
• High ability to organize, plan and prioritize ensuring deadlines are met.
