Content & Social Media Marketing Manager

Digital Gurus is looking for a Content & Social Media Marketing Manager in Sydney, Australia. If you meet the requirements below, you will be eligible to apply via Digital Marketing Community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the content plan, content calendar and content resources.
  • Assure all content is aligned with brand voice and in line with guidelines.
  • Responsible for all briefing to outsourced copywriters for blogs, landing pages and emails, as well as managing any external agencies or freelancers, ensuring all content is delivered on time and to budget.
  • Head strategic content offers and asset builds, guides, videos, calculators and checklists.
  • Accountable for all checking and quality control across key content written for digital and other marketing channels.
  • Enhance all content and landing pages to improve Search Engine Visibility.
  • Execute effective content amplification strategies across social media, content syndication platforms and partner website to drive leads.
  • Design content for email campaigns and nurture programs as well as champion the webinar program.
  • Direct social media strategy as well as managing the businesses corporate social media profiles and channels.
  • Take charge of the global content editorial calendar as well as internal global updates, new letters, corporate communications etc.
  • Examine review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and translate data into stories for the business in forms of recommendations for plans to revise social media, content marketing, SEO & Paid Social campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective experience in using Marketo or Hubspot as well as Salesforce CRM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of inbound marketing fundamental including blogging, social media, email marketing and how to get users to engage with content.
  • Familiarity with all social channels especially able to leverage B2B focused channels including Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Strong written and storytelling abilities, experienced tailoring content for a variety of customer segments, brands and personas.
  • Proactive self-starter, solutions focused, detail orientated and able to work to their own success metrics.
  • A genuine interest to work in a fast-paced global business.
  • Be flexible in regards to work hours as some international calls and meetings may run out of core hours.
  • Be open to occasional international travel.
