In fact, 61% of online shoppers in Canada expect orders placed by 5 p.m. to qualify for next-day delivery, while 63% expect orders placed by noon to qualify for same-day delivery. Online shoppers in Canada are the least likely to pay for premium shipping options, compared to other regions surveyed.

37% of surveyed online shoppers are willing to pay for premium shipping reported that they need it faster due to personal reasons, while 34% said that they ordered a gift and they need it to arrive in a certain date.

22% indicated that they waited until the last minute so they haven’t another option except paying premium for a faster shipping experience, compared to 16% indicated that they like getting their purchases right away.
