Facebook Achieved the Highest Buzz Score Among Social & Internet Brands in Egypt in 2016 | YouGov

Between January and December 2016, Facebook in Egypt came at the top according to the social buzz rankings of most positively perceived internet brands.

With Egypt constituting the largest Middle East fan-base on Facebook with 27M users and growing – the social media giant looks to be continuing to maintain a positive affinity with consumers.

Google, YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter – respectively – followed Facebook in terms of having a positive social buzz.

Consumers are simply asked: “If you’ve heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative?”. Thus; the index points shown below represent a net sentiment; it can range from 100 to -100 and is compiled by subtracting negative feedback from positive ones.
