Ramadan has become a season of increased consumerism and attention to shopping. Marketers need to understand how to effectively market during this precious month in order to take the advantage of many of the opportunities it contains and to avoid Ramadan marketing mistakes that could be costly.

- 57% of residents in UAE & KSA expected that prices of goods and services will rise during Ramadan 2017.
- Respondents spend more on household grocery (22%) than any other categories.
- Respondents also interact positively with some forms of offerings & discounts such as free additional units & price discounts.
- UAE & KSA residents also spend most of their time on social media (6 hours a week) and on the internet (6 hours also).
