Job Responsibilities:

• Own the GP performance of the sites and ensure targets are hit.
• Edit and commission world-class content that offers unique value to a user and is trusted by search engines.
• Set the highest editorial standard for the websites.
• Create and regularly update editorial guidelines.
• Manage and support a team to produce world-class content that drives high volumes of traffic.
• Ensure basic best practice SEO is implemented across the site by the editorial team (title tags and Meta descriptions).
• Monitor the performance of the website daily and communicate all traffic and revenue changes to the head of sites and wider publishing team.
• Cooperate with the CRO team to identify conversion rate improvements.
• Work with the technical SEO team to deliver high-value projects that will improve the website.
• Collaborate with the brand and design teams to create new innovative page designs that improve user experience and have a positive impact on the websites engagement metrics.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated editorial experience with significant time in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing innovative original content.
• Effective experience in managing a website and growing organic traffic and revenue.
• Proficient understanding of many types of content such as (product reviews, how to guides, breaking news, features, investigative and trends).
• Expert understanding of how organic search and social media work.
• Passion for management and mentorship of editorial talent.
• Ability to interpret data, audience insights and analytics to inform coverage decisions.
• Solid organizational and communication skills.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines successfully.
