Job Responsibilities:

• Quality, maintainability, performance and security of back-end code.
• Communicating and collaborating effectively to get work done in a multidisciplinary development team.
• Cooperate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Working with and supporting external customers.
• Pitching into all aspects of helping Storyful grow.

Job Requirements:

• Effective experience of using (Ruby and Ruby on Rails).
• Extensive understanding of creating back-end code for (Rails, Django and PHP).
• Familiarity with (TDD) and testing frameworks.
• Advanced experience in designing and building (APIs, JSON, RSS and XML).
• Deep knowledge of building clients to consume third-party APIs.
• Efficient experience with (Git) or similar version control system.
• Expert understanding of (HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment.
