Offering Discounts Is the Key Driver for 71% of US Consumer to Complete Their Holiday Purchases, 2017 | Kibo

Many of US shoppers abandon their shopping cart before finalizing a purchase. But why they are doing so? This may return to the extra costs of shipping, taxes and fees, creating an account or any other reason.

The important thing here is what makes shoppers complete their purchases after abandoning a cart. 71% said that they would complete their purchase if offered a discount and 69% said they would do so if they were simply offered free shipping. Another 47% would be affected by free gifts and only 35% with future discounts.
