Private Sector Enterprises in Egypt use the internet for a variety of reasons. Gaining information about goods and services (51.7%) tops all these reasons, followed by sending and receiving e-mail (51.2%), and then providing customer services (38%).
Internet banking came behind with a rate of 16.8%, and 5.6% was for telephoning over the internet/VoIP.
