Around 15% of internet users in the Arab world said that they provide false personal information on social media.

Facebook, Google+ and other Multi-purpose platforms contain around 40.4% of this false information, followed by Twitter and other Microblogging platforms (16%), then Instagram, Pinterest and other Photosharing platforms (10.8%).
